Snuggled up warmly in blankets, accompanied by the soft sound of hooves in the snow, the carriage glides through snow-covered forests and tranquil winter landscapes. A carriage ride around Mittersill is one of the most romantic ways to experience winter in its most unspoilt form.
When lakes and ponds turn into natural ice surfaces, a very special winter atmosphere is created. Idyllic places in the surrounding area, such as Lake Zell or Schwarzsee in Kitzbühel, invite you to enjoy the clear winter air and the gentle glide over the ice.
When night falls over the mountains and the torches light the way, winter unfolds its very own atmosphere.
