01. status of compliance with the requirements

“This website is partially compliant with the requirements of the Web Accessibility Guidelines in accordance with the Austrian Accessibility Act (BaFG). We are constantly working to identify and eliminate existing barriers.”

02 Non-accessible content

The content listed below is not accessible for the following reasons

a) Incompatibility with the accessibility regulations:

  • The WP Grid Builder is used on the website to display overviews (grids and some sliders). This technology is not completely accessible, despite the manufacturer’s claims to the contrary; operation is accessible, but in some cases assistive technologies such as screen readers display irrelevant information.
  • Due to the wealth of image information (images, media, graphics) on the website, missing ALT texts are constantly being added step by step.

b) Disproportionate load:

  • Videos on YouTube: Our videos are hosted on the YouTube platform. It is currently not possible to provide audio descriptions or alternative textual descriptions for all videos (WCAG 1.2.3 and 1.2.5). We currently consider the associated effort to be a disproportionate burden.
  • General videos and audio files: Audio descriptions or textual alternatives are missing for some older videos and audio recordings. Here, too, a subsequent conversion currently represents a disproportionate burden.
  • PDF documents: Our PDF files are not completely barrier-free. We are working on making all documents accessible in the future. If you require a specific PDF file, please contact us. We will be happy to provide you with an accessible version.
  • Integrated external widgets and iFrames: Content that is integrated via external services (e.g. table reservation, newsletter, room enquiry, voucher tool, jobs or booking tools) cannot be fully controlled by us from a technical perspective. Barrier-free implementation is therefore only within our sphere of influence to a limited extent and currently represents a disproportionate burden.

c) The content does not fall within the scope of the applicable legal provisions:

  • live broadcasting time-based media
  • Online maps and map services
  • Internal areas and external tools
  • External content such as social media feeds

03. creation of this accessibility statement

This statement was created on the basis of a self-test in accordance with WCAG 2.2.
