How about a bit more Nordic variety? Cross-country skiing around Mittersill, Salzburg offers plenty of variety with lots of exciting runs for all tastes. We recommend:
- Hollersbach run: Beginners cherish this 2 km run, with separate tracks for classic and for skating style. The run around the swimming lake of Hollersbach meets every criteria.
- Kaprun Castle run: This fantastic 5.2 km run leads through the moor of Kaprun and past Kaprun Castle in about an hour. Extensions are possible to Bruck and the golf course.
- Seeloipe 1 Uttendorf: There are 25 kilometers of runs in total in Uttendorf, including a direct connection to the Pinzga run. Schlossloipe 1 particularly stands out. Thanks to artificial snow and illumination, these five kilometers in classic and in skating style are open daily until 10 pm.
