The “Windsorstube” is ideal for very small celebrations for the closest family or circle of friends, as well as meetings or business lunches.
Up to ten people can be treated like nobility in a private, castle atmosphere. The room is named after the Duke of Windsor, who was a celebrated guest at Schloss Mittersill in the 1950s.
The Glashaus is like a separated winter garden, towering high above Mittersill in a special part of the castle hotel. It is located above the Schlosstor and directly connected to the panoramic terrace, offering an impressive panoramic 360° view of the Hohe Tauern mountains and Kitzbühel Alps. It is the perfect setting for smaller castle weddings or family gatherings up to 14 people.
The “Gotisches Zimmer” is great for civil weddings with a guest list up to 30 people. The Gothic window from the 11th century is characteristic for this room and gives it a special, unmistakable atmosphere. Additionally, this room boasts a wonderful view of the Kitzbühel Alps. This room can be reserved exclusively for smaller family celebrations.

This room is named after Baron Hubert von Pantz. In 1948, the previous owner of Schloss Mittersill founded the "Sports & Shooting Club", which became the most exclusive club in the world in the years that followed and it counted many international stars and celebrities among its members..
Today we use this space for family celebrations, as the direct access to the castle courtyard, from which you have a splendid view of Mittersill and the Hohe Tauern mountains, is greatly appreciated by guests.
Family celebrations for up to 30 people can be organized in the “Kaminzimmer”. It was formerly the salon of the castle and is a popular dining room nowadays. With its unique charm, it combines the castle ambience and cosy atmosphere. In the winter, the crackling fireplace and the historic wooden ceiling make it a wonderful place to dine, and in the summer the access to the panoramic terrace is a great bonus.

This wonderfully light-flooded “Schreibzimmer” is one of the favorite rooms of our hotel guests. It is where they can enjoy a relaxed breakfast, friendly conversations, and have a wonderful start to your day. On the other hand, it is also perfect for family celebrations and groups for up to 30 people. The fabulous view of the surrounding mountain peaks is absolutely captivating!
The “Schreibzimmer” owes its name to earlier times, when letters and other documents were written and signed here, as the room is bright and sunny.
In earlier times, when the castle was still owned by noblemen, the “Fürstenzimmer” served as a bedchamber for princes and lordly visitors from all over the world. A special feature is the historical vault, which gives this room a unique atmosphere. Nowadays you can hold "princely" celebrations here, be it weddings or family celebrations, amongst others.
From the balcony of the “Fürstenzimmer” you also have a breathtaking view of the Salzach Valley and the romantic castle gardens.
The castle courtyard or “Schlosshof” is particularly suitable for receptions and outdoor dining, as it has a charming ambience with fascinating views.
